Meditation Class

Friday Sept 24th, 7pm. 1 hour

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/free-meditation-class-tickets-167623429189

This free class offers an introduction to meditation, with simple techniques taught by students of Sri Chinmoy and focused on the heart centre. All are welcome, whether a complete beginner or wanting a refresher. This class will take place during an art exhibition, and the surrounding art of a long-time student of Sri Chinmoy illustrates how meditation can change one’s perspective and enhance all types of creativity. Feel free to come early and have a look around.

Ananda music concert: a peaceful hour

Enjoy a peaceful sunday afternoon hour in the heart of London with music group Ananda, a UK-based group of singers and musicians. The beautiful and haunting melodies of Sri Chinmoy are arranged for guitar, harmonium, mandolin, tabla, violin, keyboard and voice. The surrounding art is by Lucina Della Rocca, who creates from her meditation practice—a fitting accompaniment to the music.

Infinity’s Sky music concert: a peaceful hour

Enjoy an after-work peaceful hour with the haunting melodies of Sri Chinmoy, performed by Infinity’s Sky, a vocal and instrumental group who perform as part of their spiritual practice. Founded in 1996, the group has given more than 400 concerts and released five albums. The venue is an art exhibition by Lucina Della Rocca, a long-time student of Sri Chinmoy, who draws her creative inspiration from his teachings.

Art to the music of flutes – World Heart Beat Academy

Friday Oct 1st 6pm. 1 hour.

We are so happy to offer a collaborative evening of music and art with the World Heart Beat Music Academy. Lucina taught art to children for many years, inspiring them to further their education in art. World Heart Beat brings music education to children of all cultural and economic backgrounds, helping them find within themselves the resources needed to succeed in music and in life. Enjoy the music of their young students while viewing the exhibition in an open house evening.
